From the management portal navigation, select "Manage Dealers".
Only Bakcou Admins (super-admins) have access to the Manage Dealers option. Dealer admins (admins) have access to the "Manage Dealer" option, which will take them to the individual dealer management page that corresponds with the current dealer.
This will take you to a page where you will see the list of all dealers you are associated with.
Click on the down arrow to expand the details for any of the teams in the list.
From here you can quickly update various details about the team including its primary and alternate logos, its name, dealer type and website URL.
You can also click on the "Advanced Options" button to be taken to the individual management page for more fine-tuned management of that dealer.
On the individual management page for a dealer, you will find several sections for managing various aspects of a dealer.
In the dealer profile section, you are able to update a dealer's primary and alternate logos, its name, dealer type and website URL.
In the location and contact section, you are able to update a dealer's address, its sales, service and parts phone numbers, its primary phone number, and its primary and alternate email addresses.
In the dealer members section, you are able to see a list of all the current members of the dealer along with their role on the dealer. You can remove a dealer member from the team by clicking "Remove". You can also navigate to their individual employee management page by clicking on the "Manage" link.
In the add dealer member section, you are able to add dealer members to a dealer. If the person you are trying to add does not have a Bakcou Dealer Portal account yet, you will be prompted to fill out the information needed to create their account. Then, when you hit submit, their new account will be created AND they will be added to the dealer. You can learn more about about new user account creation in the Employee Management section.
Only Bakcou admins (super-admins) have access to dealer deletion.
In the delete dealer section, you are able to delete the dealer. Before deleting a dealer, you will need to reassign all the dealer members to a different dealer or deactivate their user accounts. Once the dealer member list is cleared, you will then have access to the "Delete Dealer" button.
Only Bakcou admins (super-admins) have access to create new dealers.
To create a new dealer, click on the "Create New Dealer" button on the all dealers page.
As part of a new dealer creation, you will need to assign it a general manager. You can either enter the email address of an existing account OR you can create a new user account as the general manager. All dealers are required to have a general manager at all times.
